The registration fee includes attendance to all sessions, conference material, coffee breaks. The welcome reception is sponsored by the City of Gothenburg and free of charge.
The Bernoulli Society members
Please make sure that your membership is valid before registering for the conference. Information about membership in the Bernoulli Society can be found here >>
Students include bachelor, master and PhD Student level. All students must be able to provide Student ID or a similar documentation when arriving and registering at the conference.
An accompanying person is welcome to attend the coffee breaks, welcome reception, conference dinner and the excursions. The cost is 313 SEK incl. vat (250 SEK excl.vat) + the cost of the social events that he/she wants to attend.

Each accepted SPA paper must have at least one full registration attached to it before 11 May 2018 in order to be included in the programme.

Social Events and Excursions
The Welcome Reception on Monday 11 June is hosted by the City of Gothenburg and free of charge. Tickets for the conference dinner on Thursday 14 June can be bought at a discounted fee of 625 SEK incl. VAT (500 SEK excl. VAT). There are also a number of excursions provided for the conference.

Child Care during the conference
During the SPA Conference, Chalmers university offers free care to children of the registered participants at the conference. You can apply for this when registering to the conference. The care will be at the conference premises, teachers/attendants will speak English and Swedish.
A number of hotel rooms in different price categories have been pre-booked in Gothenburg for the conference. You can book your room via the online booking service when you register for the conference.

Cancellation of registration, social events and excursions
Until 6 April 2018, cancellation is possible and you will be refunded the conference fee less an administrative cost of 500 SEK. We regret that no refunds can be made for cancellations received after 6 April 2018. If you cannot attend the conference, your registration is transferable to another member of your organisation, an administrative cost of 250 SEK will be charged. All changes or cancellations should be done in writing to email@example.com
Cancellation of hotel
- When the reservation is confirmed, no charge will be taken if the reservation is cancelled until 8 weeks before arrival
- From 8 to 6 weeks before the arrival – 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
- From 6 to 4 weeks before the arrival – 80% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
- We regret that no cancellation within 4 weeks before the arrival will be refunded.
Please note that change of arrival/departure dates within the deadlines is to be counted as a cancellation. Changes and/or cancellations have to be made directly to Sweden MEETX AB and not to the hotel.
